We Christians are individuals and have every right to address political issues especially as they violate God’s word and hurt people. Jesus of course was no Republican but was very conservative on issues that violated His Father’s will like murder, stealing, violence, disrespect of elders, legalism etc. He strongly rebuked the religious leaders who did things that hurt people. Politics is just believing and acting about issues that destroy our relationship with God or people. Many of us conservative people are not in a party but vote Republican because it’s our only choice. Even Trump does not care much for the R party when it violates what he believes. That’s all any of us can do.
