First of all Jesus never wrote down anything because He was entrusting the proclamation of His word to His disciples whom He was equipping for that purpose. Secondly, there is nothing historically unusual about an important person being extensibly written about. Paul (Saul) was chosen for just that purpose. Jesus taught orally no doubt because He wanted His followers to be good listeners.
